The ongoing multi-faceted crisis, along with legislative frameworks struggling to keep pace with mounting socio-economic pressures, demands that companies develop and integrate sustainability strategies to enhance resilience and maintain a trajectory toward a "future-ready" status, grounded in the science of planetary boundaries.

In this webinar, we will explore how to use the Future-Fit Business Benchmark toolkit to design and implement a sustainability strategy that meets long-term future readiness requirements while also establishing a governance framework for short-term CSRD compliance.

By attending this webinar, you will learn about:

  • Sustainability Strategy Process: Viessmann employs a structured process rooted in science and systems thinking, with long-term goals for 2050 and interim targets for 2030.

  • Future-Fit Business Benchmark (FFBB) - A holistic management tool guiding companies toward sustainability. Applies 47 extra-financial KPIs to assess and improve societal impacts.

  • Circular Economy Commitment - By 2030, aims to have 50% of operational waste repurposed and 30% of revenue from circular business models. Emphasis on designing all products for circularity and achieving zero waste operations by 2050.

  • People-Centric Sustainability - Focus on health, fair employment, and living wages for 99% of the workforce by 2050. Plans to build an inclusive workplace free from discrimination.

  • Compliance and Reporting: Aligns with the EU’s CSRD, HREDD, and other sustainability regulations. Strategic alignment with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals and frameworks like SBTI.

  • Governance and Implementation - Multi-tier governance structure for cross-functional alignment. Integrating sustainability into core business operations through co-creation and collaborative projects.
